The yarn is 100% two-ply cashmere from Inner Mongolia at 15.5-16.5 micron and 34-38 mm staple — the long staple is the part that actually matters, because short fibres slip out of the loop under friction and that is what looks like pilling. The leg panels are knitted at a tighter density than a comparable sweater panel and at a higher yarn twist, which gives the fabric the spring-back memory a trouser needs; a sweater can be loose and floaty, a pair of cashmere pants cannot. We measure recovery after a fixed wear-and-rest cycle before bulk, not after. The silhouette is a full-length wide leg that falls straight from the hip with a clean floor hem and no cuff, so the leg line stays uninterrupted — the quiet-luxury shape that has carried this category for several seasons. The waist is a covered elastic band knitted in matching rib rather than a sewn-in elastic casing, with a flat knitted drawcord threaded through a reinforced opening and finished with polished metal aglets; no elastic edge rolls, no casing ridge under a tucked top.
