The cable knit henley is the bridge between a crew neck and a shirt — a grandad collar with a short three-button placket, vertical cable twist columns running the full body, and ribbed cuffs and hem in a clean regular fit. It is knitted as true structure on our own computerized flat-knit floor: every cable column is a programmed transfer sequence on the needle bed, which is why the twist stays crisp and vertical through the whole garment instead of collapsing into a soft rib after a few washes. Gauge runs 5GG to 7GG for a substantial mid-to-heavy hand, or 12GG for a finer, dressier weight, in combed cotton, merino and lambswool blends, or anti-pilling acrylic for accessible price tiers. The henley placket is knitted as a double-layer band and linked on, so the button edge stays flat and the collar keeps its shape — the weak point on cut-and-sew henley conversions. At 550-650 g/pc in the standard 5-7GG weight it wears as an autumn-to-spring layer and reads well on both men's and women's lines with a size chart regrade. Buttons can be horn, corozo, wood or engraved metal; labels, hangtags and packaging are fully private label.
